520 _aIPF forecast survey for 2007 reveals that total return expectations for 2007 have fallen from 8.1% in the previous quarter to 1.8%. Expectations of capital growth are greatly reduced, having turned negative for all sectors in 2008. Rental growth figures are also revised downwards for in 2008. Market correction which had been forecast for 2009 is now expected sooner and to be sharper. Returns for 2008 are now more expected to be more affected. Expectations for 2009 are now more positive. Inflation remains a concern, but another interest rate rise before 2008 now seems unlikely.
