The orders index increased to 60, the tender enquiries index rose to 59, and employment prospects were also strong. Non-residential construction was the strongest sector, although the residential sector performed better than the previous month and civil engineering made a comeback. However, the downward trend that started mid-2007 is expected to continue into 2008. | ||
