| 520 | _aThe latest Experian Business Strategies' "Focus survey of construction activity" reveals that while the industry continued to grow in January 2008, respondents were more downbeat than in December. The civil engineering sector was particularly despondent, with its activity index falling to 37. Non-residential activity continued to grow strongly although residential activity stalled with the housing market slowdown. Construction activity is forecast to increase over the next quarter, although the rate of increase will slow. | ||
