520 _aUsing research into corporate real estate asset management (CREAM) in New Zealand carried out by Lincoln University, reviews the development of CREAM in New Zealand since 1992. Finds that there is evidence of substantial improvement in CREAM in terms of qualifications of those responsible for CREAM and the development of strategic plans. However, also finds other aspects of CREAM, including percentage of organisations with a separate real estate unit, reporting levels to management and the allocation of real estate costs, have remained static.
