Developers are moving in on the potential 1m sq ft of offices spreading out from the Old Street's "Silicon Roundabout". Clerkenwell is on its way to regaining the rental zenith of 2007. The City will expand by more than 2.5m sq ft office space by the end of 2014 but until then developers are lining up to take advantage of an all-time low in availability. The London Development Agency will start marketing two regeneration sites, Royals Business Park and Silvertown Quays schemes, in April.
