Property developers almost unknown in their own industry are busy in the UK developing hotels by buying franchises of international hotel brands such as Hilton and InterContinental. Savills report s that foreign investment in UK hotels doubled in 2010, the majority of investors coming from Asia. New London hotels are arising from Victorian buildings: the Corinthia Hotel from the Old War Office, Whitehall Place and the as yet unnamed boutique hotel from the Bow Street magistrates' court , Covent Garden. | ||
