Although the number/volume of requirements in the central London office market is healthy, corporate caution will keep office take-up in 2012 down to similar levels to 2011. Rents are unlikely to rise far but available new office space will increase only slightly with refurbishments coming on-stream late in the year. 1000 companies will have to make relocation decisions in the next 18 months plus a further 2000 central London companies facing relocation decisions by 2016.
