Demand in the occupier sectors of the commercial property market has been boosted and all occupier sectors are now performing well. No speculative development is underway however nor planned for a number of years. Rental growth is not likely to happen in any sector in 2012. The uncertainty about retrospective reform of rent review provisions (now dropped) has suppressed investment market performance and volume. NAMA and the banks have brought more properties to the market in the last two months
