520 _aFor the third consecutive quarter annual total returns for every sector in Scotland underperformed the UK as a whole with Scottish offices remaining the weakest sector relative to the UK on both an annual and quarterly basis. The continued strength of the Central London office market is the cause of the pronounced current disparity. The best performing sector relative to the UK in Q1 2012 was retail warehouses. All property quarterly total returns in Scotland fell in Q1 2012 to 0.1% from 0.5% in the previous quarter. Rental and capital values fell for a fourth consecutive quarter.
