520 _aCA 2 March 1995. The first defendant, husband of the second defendant, was a sponsored name at Lloyds and required security in order to remain so. Both husband and wife signed the registration of a charge against their home in order to raise the bank guarantee. When the husband defaulted on the payments, the wife argued that the charges had not been explained to her and she had signed the registration only under undue influence from her husband. The High Court judge had made an order for possession, the second defendant appealed against this decision, appeal dismissed.
