Demand increased in the commercial sector and stabilised in the residential. Price expectations increased but are higher in the commercial sector. Arable land prices increased by 5% from £13 085 to 13 713 per hectare. Pasture land prices increased by 4% from £11 260 to £11 718 per hectare. RICS transaction based measure (which includes a residential component where the estimated value is less than 50%) increased by 7.8% in H2 2009 from £15,199 to £16,381 per hectare.
