Tender prices significantly outstrip inflation

Tender prices rose also by 1.6% between the third and fourth quarters 2002. BCIS forecasts that new work output should continue to expand in 2003 rising well above the long term trend rate. In 2004, growth in new work output is likely to be above trend, albeit closer to it.
