The Housing Private Finance Initiative (PFI) Procurement Pack has been launched by the government. The aim is for it to help simplify the process of agreeing contracts and therefore speed up delivery of decent and affordable homes. PFI is a key component of the government's Decent Home programme, as well as in the provision of affordable housing for rent. £1.22bn has already been dedicated to the Housing PFI programme over the next three years.
