A panel of experts discusses whether surveying has a skills gap with graduates not properly prepared to enter the profession or whether the issue is the gap between cutting-edge courses and the old-fashioned image of the profession. Panel included Shane Balzan, Associate Director of Education and Qualification Standards at RICS, Professor Mike Riley, Pro-Vice Chancellor at Liverpool John Moores University, Chris Welch, chairman of the Apprenticeship Trailblazers in Surveying employer working group and Jordanne Wilson, apprentice building surveyor at Savills.
