Snipper v Enever Freeman & Co QBD 19 June 1990. Solicitors failed to gain an extended lease for their client, the plaintiff, who later agreed an extended lease with the landlords but lost the right to the freehold . The court had to decide the measure of damages ; when the breach occurred or later when the compromise was reached with the landlord. The latter date was held to be correct.
