Looks at new insurance clauses which came into effect 1 January 1987. 1) JCT 80 update 1 explains revisions which apply to all versions of the JCT forms and to subcontracts NSC/4 and NSC/4A. The Standard Form of Contractors Design 1981 edition, IFC 84, and the Subcontract Conditions NAM/SC are also affected. 2) JCT 80 update 2 looks at changes to the alternative clauses for insuring works and site materials, the effects of partial possession and the nominated subcontract agreements.
