Discusses the decisions in Cambridge CC v SOS for Environment and Billson v Residential Apartments which have important implications for developers and landlords . The former held that demolition constitutes development, therefore requiring planning permission whilst the latter illustrates how effective forfeiture can be as a landlord`s remedy for breach of covenant .
