In "O`Sullivan v Barnett and another" CA 19 May 1994, a tenant did not acquire a protected tenancy under Rent Act 1977 s12, where a landlord and family moved from one house to another with an unprotected tenant, even though tenant and the landlord`s son moved into the new house several days in advance of the rest of the family,
