CA 23 June 1995. A notice to announce a rent review for the third perid should have been served no later than 29 September 1991, but landlords purported to have issued a notice dated 14 April 1992. The High Court found the notice valid, but tenants appealed. Appeal allowed on basis that `time was of the essence`.
