Havant International Holdings Ltd v Lionsgate (H) Investment Ltd. ChD 30 November 1999. The claimant tenant (HIHL) served two break notices signed by the director of a subsidiary company, Havant International Ltd. The landlord claimed that the notices were invalid because they had not been signed by or on behalf of HIHL . "Held" the notices were valid.
