Making the most of models
- 2006
- Project 18(10) May 2006, 21(1) .
Reports on the Association for Project Management's Organisational Models Project which aims to give guidance to organisations in deciding which of the many project management maturity and organisational models now available is appropriate for their needs. Research indicates that these models are used to gain tangible benefits, and that many practitioners are cautious about using them for prescribing the way to improve. It has also become clear that there is little understanding of the market for project improvement models, and that more information, clarification and guidance is required.
