Discusses the compatibility of domestic UK law with the European Convention of Human Rights. Considers a judgment by the European Court of Human Rights, "Pye v UK" (ECHR, L131742), a case regarding a squatter's claim for possessory title. Looks at limitation in compulsory purchase and the cases of "Hillingdon London BC v Arc" (CA, Abs62992) and "Co-operative Wholesale Ltd v Chester-le-Street DC" (CA, Abs59282). Argues that there is no reason why limitation periods should apply in cases of compulsory acquisition.
