Tenders continue to fall as workloads plummet BCIS Tender Price Index Q1 2009 [electronic resource]

BCIS's Tender Price Index for the first quarter 2009 reveals that the price of new construction work fell by 4.9%. This is a fall of 6.4% compared to its level in the same quarter of 2008. Workload and new orders for construction continue to plummet. Costs rose moderately, by 4%, for the first quarter 2009. Salaries remain at the same level, at 4.9%. Forecasts growth and a rise in tender prices for 2011.
