Goldacre v Nortel, [2009] EWHC 3389 (Ch) (see L149729) treats the issue of administrators' liability for rent. The right to break after transferring property interests is dealt with in Linpac v Aviva [2010] EWCA Civ 395. Clarence House v National Westminster Bank [2009] EWCA Civ 1311 (see E149610) makes clear that virtual assignments do not affect the normal landlord's remedies. Good Harvest Partnership LLP v Centaur Services [2010] EWHC 330 (Ch) severely restricts the ability of landlords to rely on the covenant strength of existing guarantors to guarantee the performance of subsequent assignees.
