The first section describes how to use the pack and how to implement the training sessions. Includes: background notes on the fundamentals of ecology; an introduction to legislation governing wildlife and construction issues; practical guidance on dealing with wildlife on sites; and references and a gazetteer of useful organisations. Supporting materials include: briefing sheets on individual species and the different types of habitat; toolbox talks; and a quiz for training session delegates. A 32-page pocket book (publication C613) is included in the pack. An accompanying CD Rom is available for reference use in the library.
