Reports that two thirds of survey respondents are against legislation to make the "Code for leasing business premises" mandatory, favouring self-regulation instead. Other key findings include: three quarters of businesses fail to hold an annual strategic review of their property holdings; 57% want upwards-only rent review to end; and 71% want continuing liability post assignment to be removed.
