Summary, etc. Six housing asociations in the northeast, Humber and Yorkshire are to receive support from the Phoenix Fund which promotes enterprise in disadvantaged areas. The projects will provide £1.35m of aid over two years for start-ups, existing small businesses and social enterprises. They will be centred on the government's designated Enterprise Areas within Gloucester/Cheltenham, Newcastle, Hartlepool, Sunderland, Halifax and Bradford/Leeds.
