The research report was commissioned jointly by the British Property Federation, Investment Property Forum and RICS and reveals that small investors have £35bn ready for commercial property. Apparently there are at least 6.5m active individual investors in the UK. While 54% of them are aware of commercial property's recent out-performance of equities and bonds, only 5% would even consider investing in more commercial property products in the next 12 months.
