520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. The government has accepted in principle the proposals in the Law Commission's report "Limitation of actions" which suggests that the Limitation Act 1980 should be repealed and replaced by a new Act. Recommendations would apply a core limitation regime to the majority of claims with a primary limitation period of three years and a 10 year longstop period. Claims in relation to land would only be subject to a 10 year limitation period. Report No 270 is to be found at : http://www.lawcom.gov.uk/library/lib-com.htm#liblc270
