Summary, etc. The Office of National Statistics has published it's latest New Earnings Survey which shows that construction operatives work an average 46.5 hours a week. With certain sectors such as scaffolders, stagers and riggers working over 51 hours per week. An average week of 60 hours in London and the South East highlighting regional differences.
