Summary, etc. CA 23 September 1987. Application for leave to appeal from a decision dismissing an appeal from a decision of the SoS Environment upholding enforcement notices served on the applicant alleging a material change of use of farmland . (For the facts of this case see Abstract 38097). The present issue centred on the position created by storage of grain produced on the applicant`s land, and stored on two of his farms, but not intended for feeding livestock at the farms. The planning authority and the SoS Environment had both treated the applicants` holding as being divided into separate planning units, and concluded that storage of grain from other parts of the holding on the planning unit under consideration for purposes unconnected with agriculture, was a use for storage in itself, not a use for agriculture.
