Landlords should provide an inventory along with a tenancy agreement or risk lacking proof should dispute arise. Good inventories will contain factual and descriptive terms. Photographs and digital recordings can be helpful, but are no substitute for this. Considers the relative merits of accompanied and unaccompanied move-ins.
