Summary: Seeks comments from developers and others on revised requirements relating to the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) of projects. Revisions to EIA requirements have arisen on a EU wide basis as a result of Directive 2003/35/EC, the Public Participation or Aarhus directive. This particular consultation covers proposed changes to a number of regimes administered by the DTI. Concerning power stations and overhead lines, gas transporter pipelines and commercial pipelines. Comments are to be received by 2 January 2007.
