Annual average house prices paid by first time buyers in February were 1.3% higher than a year ago. No change in average house prices paid by former owner occupiers. Annual average house prices paid for new properties in February 2012 were 7.7% higher than a year ago. By comparison average house prices paid on pre-owned dwellings were 0.2% lower.
