Presents figures on new build housing starts and completions in England; figures for the UK and constituent countries are also available in the accompanying tables; the latest statistics report. The figures in this release have been revised back to the June quarter 2007 to include extra data from independent approved inspectors. All data in this release and related tables now includes data from independent approved inspectors. This represents a substantial improvement to the coverage of these statistics. Because the data have been revised back to 2007 all quarterly and annual comparisons in this release are on a consistent basis. However, data from this release cannot be compared with data in previous releases
