Of the two main components, new work fell by 9.5 per cent and repair and maintenance fell by 1.4 per cent. The largest decreases were new public non-housing excluding infrastructure (22.4 per cent) and new public housing (22.1 per cent). Non-housing repair and maintenance showed the largest percentage growth, increasing by 1.1 per cent.
