Describes a research project, which involved a questionnaire survey, that verified three hypotheses: that the Singapore contractors' way of conducting business is influenced by Chinese culture; that Chinese culture could help promote partnering in the Singapore construction industry; and that, because of their similar culture, it is easier to partner between Chinese contractors and clients.
