By: Series: Solicitors' Journal ; 146(28) 19 July 2002, 652-653(2)Publication details: 2002Subject(s): Summary: Reports on the House of Lords' decision in "J A Pye(Oxford) Ltd v Graham" which examined whether a trespasser 'possessed' the land for the requisite period using the ordinary meaning of the word. Decision concluded that even if a person is in possession with the consent of the owner, he does not have sufficient possession for the purposes of the Limitation Act 1980.
