Amongst the statistics, figures indicated that car traffic rose by 1 per cent, and light van traffic rose by 6 per cent over the same period. There was an increase of 10 per cent in two wheeled motor vehicles and buses. These estimates are based on data from 180 automated traffic counters in the road.
